Submissions

Submissions are accepted electronically in PDF format. When preparing your submission (max. 10 pages), please follow the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format of Springer-Verlag that is also used by the main User Modeling conference. For detailed formatting instructions, please see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

Papers should be submitted by e-mail to fscs2006@iws.cs.uni-magdeburg.de until June 30th, 2006.

All submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the program committee on the basis of relevance, originality, significance, soundness and clarity.

Accepted symposium papers will be published in full length in the symposium proceedings and presented in talks. For each talk approx. 30 minutes will be allotted with at least 5 minutes for discussion.

Selected papers will be published in the International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems (IJUFKS).
